Agreement and eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement and at least 18 years old to operate a workspace. The service is intended for businesses, organizations, and professionals managing legitimate appointment- or resource-based activity.
“You” means the person using the service and, where applicable, the organization represented by that person. “Workspace” means the organization-specific account and its data. “Customer” means a person who books or otherwise interacts with a workspace.
Accounts and approval
- Provide complete and accurate registration, contact, timezone, and organization information.
- Verify the owner email and complete any platform review required before the workspace becomes active.
- Keep passwords, integration tokens, devices, and staff access confidential and appropriately restricted.
- Notify support promptly if credentials are lost, compromised, or used without authorization.
- Maintain current staff roles and deactivate access that is no longer required.
You are responsible for activity performed through your workspace unless it results directly from a security failure under our control. Accounts may not be sold, transferred, or shared outside the organization without written permission.
The service
Bookhurst provides tools for availability, public booking, calendar operations, staff assignments, customer records, transactional email, payment links, refunds, invoice tracking, reporting, and related administration. Features available to a workspace may depend on its configuration, connected providers, status, and deployment.

Workspace responsibilities
A workspace operator is responsible for:
- The accuracy of availability, pricing, descriptions, capacity, taxes, cancellation rules, and customer-facing information.
- Delivering the booked product or service and handling customer questions, changes, cancellations, no-shows, refunds, and complaints.
- Obtaining permission and establishing a lawful basis for customer, employee, and contact information entered into the service.
- Providing its own customer terms, privacy notice, refund policy, regulatory disclosures, and accessibility accommodations where required.
- Reviewing automated messages, invoices, reports, and payment status before relying on them for financial, tax, legal, or operational decisions.
- Keeping an independent record or export of information the organization must retain.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Break the law, infringe rights, facilitate fraud, or offer prohibited or deceptively described goods or services.
- Upload malware, probe or bypass security controls, disrupt availability, scrape at abusive volume, or access another workspace without authorization.
- Send spam, phishing, harassment, unlawful marketing, or messages without an appropriate relationship or permission.
- Collect unnecessary highly sensitive information, payment-card details in free-text fields, or authentication credentials belonging to another person.
- Reverse engineer or copy protected portions of the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Use the public demo to test attacks, identify real people, or store real personal or business data; demo content is synthetic, anything you change is discarded at the nightly reset, and staff accounts, billing, payments and outgoing email are disabled.
Reasonable integration traffic is permitted through issued API credentials, subject to access controls and rate or usage limits.
Payments, refunds, and taxes
Connected card payments are processed through Stripe Connect. The workspace operator establishes its Stripe relationship and is responsible for processor onboarding, charges, fees, reserves, disputes, payout timing, refund decisions, and compliance with Stripe’s terms.Bookhurst does not store full card numbers.
- Payment and refund records shown in Bookhurst are operational records and should be reconciled against Stripe and the workspace’s financial accounts.
- Offline payments are entered by workspace staff; Bookhurst cannot independently verify that cash, transfer, or terminal payment occurred.
- Workspace operators are responsible for all applicable taxes, registrations, invoice content, receipts, reporting, and consumer-law obligations.
- A Bookhurst invoice or balance request is not guaranteed to satisfy jurisdiction-specific tax-invoice requirements unless the workspace adds and verifies every required detail.
Communications
The service may send verification, security, booking, reminder, invoice, CRM, approval, and support messages. You authorize operational messages needed to administer your account and the service.
Workspace operators control messages sent to their contacts and are responsible for recipient accuracy, lawful content, consent or other permission, required sender identification, and honoring opt-out or suppression obligations. Delivery is not guaranteed because recipient systems and email providers remain outside our control.
Third-party services
Features may rely on services such as Stripe for payment processing and Brevo for email delivery, as well as hosting, database, cache, and network providers. Your use of a connected third-party account is also governed by that provider’s terms and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for a third-party provider’s independent acts, outages, policy decisions, account restrictions, or changes. We may replace or discontinue an integration when reasonably necessary.
Content and ownership
You retain ownership of information and content submitted to your workspace. You grant us a limited, worldwide right to host, copy, transmit, display, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the service or comply with law.
Bookhurst, its interface, code, design, documentation, and branding are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your workspace remains authorized. Feedback may be used without restriction or payment, but we will not identify you publicly without permission.
Availability and service changes
We work to keep the service available and information accurate, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available operation. Maintenance, security events, provider outages, network failures, preview features, and circumstances outside reasonable control may affect access.
Features may be added, changed, limited, or retired. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid materially disruptive changes and provide notice when appropriate. The health endpoint and operational tooling support monitoring but do not create an uptime guarantee or service-level agreement.
Suspension and termination
We may pause, suspend, reject, or terminate access when reasonably needed to address security risk, unlawful or abusive activity, non-payment, provider requirements, false registration information, material breach, or legal obligations. When practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
You may stop using the service and request workspace deletion through support. Before termination, export information the organization must retain. Data handling after closure follows the Privacy Policy. Sections that logically should survive—such as payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—remain effective.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage.
We do not warrant that availability calculations, messages, payment status, invoices, exports, or reports will always be complete or free of error. You remain responsible for reviewing critical operational and financial information. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bookhurst and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, bookings, or business opportunity arising from the service.
Aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the fees paid for the affected service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $100. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
General terms
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any written order or service agreement form the agreement for the service.
- If a written service agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement controls for that conflict.
- If one provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue.
- Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign the agreement without consent; we may assign it as part of a business reorganization or transfer.
- Electronic notices may be provided through the service or to the account email. You are responsible for keeping that address current.
- Applicable governing law, forum, and any mandatory dispute procedure are those stated in a signed service agreement or otherwise required by applicable law.
